Position Overview:

As a Funding Application Coordinator, you will play a vital role in our Decarbonisation Team at Sustainable Building Services (UK) Ltd.

You will receive comprehensive training on the customer journey and the documentation process, empowering you to submit requests for funding energy-saving initiatives effectively.

In this role, you will work closely with the PAS compliance team and the Decarbonisation team, benefiting from mentorship by experienced management who specialize in delivering government-funded initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Retrofit Advisors and PAS Compliance teams to gather documentation for funding opportunities.
  • Utilize checklists to verify the completeness of submission packages.
  • Review and ensure compliance of forms using established guidelines.
  • Employ relevant electronic systems to prepare submission data uploads.
  • Maintain oversight of job progress, ensuring timely and accurate submissions for all properties requiring funding.
  • Develop a deeper understanding of government-funded schemes.
  • Report daily and weekly progress on submissions to the Funding Contracts Manager to facilitate smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in compliance administration is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Minimum of GCSEs (A*-C) or equivalent in core subjects is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Highly organized.
  • Able to meet deadlines consistently.
