About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tenant Liaison Officer to join our client, a well-established Social Housing Contractor, on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing positive relationships with residents to provide information and support during refurbishment, maintenance, and major works programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-entry visits and company inductions to ensure a smooth transition for tenants.
  • Collect tenancy agreement/approval forms and maintain accurate records.
  • Visit tenants in their homes to advise them on work schedules and progress.
  • Act as the main point of contact for tenants, addressing any problems or queries they may have.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with neighbourhood housing associations.
  • Visit empty houses being refurbished to advise potential tenants on completion dates.
  • Attend and chair tenant forum meetings to keep residents informed about works being carried out.
  • Monitor customer complaints and resolve any potential issues.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and provide feedback to improve services.
Requirements

The successful candidate must have a strong and stable career in face-to-face customer service, preferably in the Housing or Construction sectors. A full driving licence and a current CSCS Card are also essential.
