Insurance Client Manager

We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Client Manager/Account Executive at Aon.

As a Client Manager at Aon, you will serve as the primary liaison for our clients, leveraging Aon's extensive capabilities to address their evolving needs and risks.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing, coordinating, and managing the delivery of services to clients, utilizing designated service teams and specialized resources.

Aon's Corporate division serves clients across various regions, and with our flexible hybrid working model, this role can be performed from multiple locations.

Daily Responsibilities The position is part of our SME/mid-market commercial risk team, providing tailored risk solutions to businesses across various sectors in the UK. Clients seek a broker who can offer a personalized approach.

Our clients often require customized insurance programs along with risk management and transfer services.

In addition to acting as the insurance broker, the Client Manager, with support from the broader team, will provide clients with claims assistance and risk management advice across numerous industries, including real estate, public sector, food and beverage, retail, health and social care, and wholesale.


You will oversee the service provided to clients and those to whom we delegate service elements.

Ensure the highest quality of service for each assigned client, adhering to established client service tools.

Identify and introduce Aon's products and services to fulfill client needs, while effectively communicating each client's business challenges and requirements to the service team and other Aon divisions.

Build strong relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations.

Drive revenue growth and profitability for your client portfolio, including achieving annual revenue targets.

Responsible for adhering to the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and compliance with Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in risk management activities (including mandatory training) that may impact the business, interests, or reputation of any Group Company.

Qualifications for Success ACII or equivalent qualifications are preferred.

Demonstrated experience in the insurance sector, particularly in client relationship management and core commercial risks, is essential.

Experience managing large corporate insurance risks is advantageous.
A solid understanding of business dynamics, including market forces, drivers, and risks, is important.
Previous experience in sales, fee negotiation, and influencing is beneficial.
Strong communication and presentation skills are required.
A client-focused, consultative approach with a commitment to excellence in client service is essential.
