Primary Responsibilities:
  • Direct a team in developing risk evaluations for Ordnance Munitions and Explosives operations
  • Create safety presentations for all OME operations under management
  • Ensure proper oversight and secure operational procedures
  • Perform engineering tasks in alignment with QinetiQ Engineering Standards
  • Administer modifications to OME operations through established protocols
  • Guarantee adherence to Trials Hazardous Activities Certification standards
  • Determine safety parameters and Weapon Danger Zones
Essential Qualifications/Expertise:
  • Plan, implement, and document Trial and Proof operations for Ordnance and Munitions
  • Oversee all records related to QinetiQ Trial and Proof operations
  • Travel to facilitate OME operations at various Land Ranges
  • Guide and support Trainee Trials Managers
Behavioral Expectations:
  • Work primarily at designated Land Ranges
  • Willingness to travel to other Land Ranges as required
  • Methodical, detail-oriented, and safety-focused work ethic
  • Strong communication and client service abilities
Preferred Experience and Credentials:
  • Background in Medium and Large Calibre Gun Operations
  • Experience in establishing Weapon Danger Zones
  • Familiarity with Ordnance, Munitions, and Explosives
  • Expertise in Testing and Evaluation methodologies
