About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our Children's Home in Hull. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each young person.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team, providing guidance and support to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including parents, carers, and other professionals, to promote the welfare and well-being of our young people.
  • Maintain high-quality care standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and our organization's policies and procedures.
  • Address any complaints or concerns, taking a proactive approach to resolving issues and improving our services.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a position related to residential care of children, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
  • A Level 3 qualification in Children's Residential Care, with a preference for a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
  • Knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, young people, and their families.
  • A full UK driving license.
