Senior Care Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Care Officer to join our Children's Homes team at Hull City Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children in our care.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the service and provide guidance and support to staff.
- Develop and implement care plans and programmes that meet the individual needs of children in our care.
- Provide advice, support, and guidance on behaviour and general care of children, as well as staff supervision and development.
- Contribute to the development of a nurturing and supportive environment that promotes the wellbeing and resilience of children.
- NVQ Level 3 in Child Care or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexibly, including shift work and sleepovers, to meet the needs of the service.
