About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Care Officer to join our leadership team at Connect Family Support Team based within Elgar Hub. The purpose of the team is to provide support to families to help children stay safely at home wherever possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the care team and other professionals to create individualised packages of support for families.
  • Provide advice, support, and guidance on individualised care plans, as well as behaviour and general care/safeguarding of the young people in the home.
  • Supervise and support staff involved in the day-to-day running of the Home.
  • Work with children, young people, and families within the Community providing individualised support/care as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team.
Requirements
  • Previous experience within a child care setting, including supervisory duties and working with children and young people with complex needs.
  • Qualification equivalent to or above NVQ 3 Level in a relevant Health and Social Care area of work.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, responsive, and flexible team.
