Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Senior Care Officer to join our leadership team at Hull City Council. The successful candidate will work alongside our care team to provide support to families and help children stay safely at home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans for families
  • Provide advice, support, and guidance on care planning and behavior management
  • Supervise and support staff in the day-to-day running of the service
  • Work with children, young people, and families in the community to provide individualized support and care
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality support and services

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a child care setting, including supervisory duties and working with children and young people with complex needs
  • Qualification equivalent to or above NVQ 3 Level in a relevant Health and Social Care area of work
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, responsive, and flexible team environment
