We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Care Officer to join our leadership team at Connect Family Support Team based within Elgar Hub. The purpose of the team is to provide support to families to help children stay safely at home wherever possible.
The successful candidate will work alongside the care team, CAMHS Systemic Practitioner, and Child Psychologist to create individualised packages of support for families. Where children cannot return to live with their families, good care planning needs to take place to ensure the child has everything they need for a successful transition into the next steps in their lives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advice, support, and guidance on individualised care plans
- Work with children, young people, and families within the Community providing individualised support/care
- Supervise and support staff involved in the day-to-day running of the Home
- Work in a dynamic, responsive, and flexible team
A qualification which is equivalent (or above) to a NVQ 3 Level in a relevant Health and Social Care area of work is required.
