Job Title: Senior Care Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Care Officer to join our team at Hull City Council. As a Senior Care Officer, you will play a key role in providing support to families and children in need, working closely with our dedicated care team and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and care to children and families, working with them to identify and address their needs and goals.
  • Work closely with the care team to develop and implement care plans, ensuring that the needs of children and families are met.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring that they are effective and meet the needs of children and families.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to ensure that children and families receive the support they need.
Requirements:
  • Qualification in a relevant health and social care field (e.g. NVQ 3 or equivalent).
  • Experience of working with children and families in a care setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
