Senior Care Officer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Care Officer to join our Children's Homes team at Hull City Council. As a Senior Care Officer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice, support, and guidance on care plans and programmes for children in our care.
- Work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home and the delivery of high-quality care.
- Supervise and support staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
- Engage in new developments and initiatives to improve the care and support we provide to children.
About You:
- You should have a relevant qualification in childcare or social work, such as NVQ Level 3 in Child Care or a DipSW, Degree in Social Work, CQSW, CSS.
- You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, staff, and other stakeholders.
- You will be able to work flexibly, including shift work and sleepovers, to meet the needs of the service.
