About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Care Assistant to join our team at Hull City Council. As a Night Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children living in our Children's Homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children with complex health needs and disabilities during nighttime hours
  • Assist with personal care needs, monitoring health needs, and ensuring children's safety and comfort
  • Participate in basic domestic and office duties
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and senior staff to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Follow policies and procedures, and undertake necessary training and development opportunities

Requirements

  • Previous care experience, preferably with children
  • Ability to write up records and communicate effectively
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including night shifts
