Join Huntress, a global education software company, as a Senior HR Advisor with Travel. This 12-month fixed-term contract is based in Brentford, West London, with occasional travel to Durham and Swindon.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team, working closely with HR Business Partners to provide guidance on HR policies, practices, and employee/manager queries. The successful candidate will manage low-level Employee Relations cases, advise on HR policies, and oversee performance management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to provide guidance on policies, HR practices, and employee/manager queries
  • Manage low-level Employee Relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance investigations
  • Advise on HR policies, covering probations, leave, absence management, and flexible working
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting and improvement plan
  • Handle escalated HR Help queries and support onboarding, inductions, and exit interviews
  • Assist with HR initiatives, including employee engagement, diversity programs, and policy updates
  • Improve the People Assist knowledge library by addressing common queries and anticipating needs
  • Work with the HR Coordinator to deliver accurate metrics and maintain data integrity
  • Analyse absence trends and report to HR Business Partners
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled HR Advisor with a solid understanding of HR principles, employment legislation, and best practices. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2 years of experience as an HR Advisor or similar role
  • Minimum CIPD Level 3 or equivalent
  • Proficient in HRIS software and Microsoft Office packages
  • Experienced in analysing and presenting HR data
