Sales Manager Job Description

Overview:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting and selling the brand and services, maximizing revenue and achieving sales targets while managing key accounts. This role involves generating demand and building a pipeline of accounts for the hotel, developing strong relationships, and managing new client accounts.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Work within a team and report to the Business Development Director and General Manager
  • Manage the day-to-day performance delivery of Sales Executive and M&E Sales
  • Proactively seek out new accounts for accommodation and conferences and increase market share for the hotel
  • Manage and progress opportunities through the sales pipeline (short, medium, and long term), coordinating support and driving activity
  • Ensure all clients are responded to promptly and effectively and be a key contact for all bookers and agents within the corporate and conference sectors

Key Performance Metrics:

  • Achievement of monthly KPIs/appointment targets
  • Achievement of monthly personal revenue target & monthly Corporate and M&E budgets
  • Growth of new business pipeline
  • Maintenance of Sales database and systems
  • Fulfilment of the job skills checklist

Salary Package:

They are offering a salary of £40,000 per annum plus bonus
