About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Frasers Group team as a Membership Experience Host. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for our members and guests.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maximise every member and guest's experience in our club by providing a high level of service and support.
  • Support the sales and retention of memberships through effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of high cleaning and hygiene standards in the club.
  • Act as a competent key holder, covering shifts as required and ensuring the smooth operation of the club.
  • Develop a good understanding of our membership software system and use it to enhance the member experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with current fitness challenges, class descriptions, and gym floor focus, and participate in these initiatives.
  • Support the Fitness Manager with gym floor operations and ensure that all members are aware of the services and facilities available.
  • Ensure that you have experienced and can recommend our products and services to members.
  • Take an active role in maintaining the cleanliness of the facilities and ensure that they are always above expectation.
  • Drive secondary spend KPI targets and work towards achieving sales and retention goals.
  • Deal with member complaints in a professional and timely manner, escalating issues to the relevant manager as necessary.

Requirements

  • Be an outgoing and positive individual with a strong customer service ethos.
  • Be competent in all administrative duties and able to use our membership software system.
  • Be driven and ambitious, with a keen desire to learn and develop both behaviours and competencies specific to the role.
  • Be willing and able to participate in learning and development opportunities to progress your career.
  • Be able to drop into operational key holder duties as required by the business.
  • Be passionate about fitness, administration, and customer service.
  • Be flexible and able to work shifts to suit the needs of the business, including early morning and late evening shifts.
  • Be target-focused and committed to supporting the club in achieving sales and retention targets.

Contract Details

The contract is for 20 hours per week, split over 3-4 days per week, depending on coverage. Availability for early morning starts and late evening finishes is required in line with gym opening hours.
