Main Responsibilities- Maximise Member Experience: To create a welcoming and inclusive environment that exceeds member expectations, ensuring that every interaction is positive and memorable.
- Support Sales and Retention: To contribute to the sales and retention of memberships through excellent customer service, building strong relationships with members and promoting our services.
- Facilities Maintenance: To maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the club, working collaboratively with the team to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- Key Holder Duties: To be a competent key holder, covering shifts as required and ensuring the club is secure and ready for opening.
- Software System Knowledge: To have a good understanding of our membership software system, using this knowledge to provide excellent customer service and support.
- Stay Up-to-Date: To stay informed about current fitness challenges, class descriptions, and gym floor focus, taking part in these initiatives to enhance the member experience.
- Support the Fitness Manager: To work closely with the Fitness Manager to ensure the gym floor is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Product and Service Knowledge: To have a good understanding of the products and services offered by Everlast Gyms, ensuring that members are aware of the benefits and can make informed decisions.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: To take an active role in maintaining the cleanliness of the facilities, working with the team to ensure that the club is always above expectation.
- Secondary Spend Targets: To contribute to driving secondary spend targets, working with the team to promote our services and increase revenue.
- Member Complaints: To competently deal with member complaints, ensuring that the relevant manager is informed and that the issue is resolved promptly.
- Outgoing Personality: To have an outgoing personality with a positive mindset, able to build strong relationships with members and colleagues.
- Administrative Competence: To be competent in all administrative duties, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Driven and Ambitious: To be driven and ambitious, with a keen desire to learn and develop both behaviours and competencies specific to the role.
- Learning and Development: To be willing and able to participate in learning and development opportunities, to progress both competencies and career.
- Flexibility: To be flexible, able to work shifts to suit the needs of the business and take on additional duties where required to support the team.
- Passion for Fitness and Administration: To be passionate about fitness, administration, and customer service, with a desire to make a positive impact on the member experience.
- Target Focused: To be target-focused, working with the team to support the club in achieving sales and retention targets.
Everlast Gyms is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that offers a unique opportunity for individuals to grow and develop their skills. Contract: 20 hours split over 3/4 days per week, depending on coverage. Availability for 5:30am starts and/or 10:30pm finishes required in-line with gym opening hours.
