Key Responsibilities of the Head of People Operations:

  • Foster a positive, enjoyable, and inclusive company culture that values diversity, equity, and belonging. Drive the implementation of initiatives that enhance employee engagement, well-being, and work-life balance.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with the company’s long-term objectives.
  • Design and implement learning and development programs that facilitate the professional growth and skill enhancement of employees at all levels.
  • Ensure a seamless and positive recruitment and onboarding experience. Collaborate with the Recruitment Manager to devise innovative strategies for attracting top talent and building a diverse workforce.
  • Oversee the enhancement and execution of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and resource for the People Team and management on HR-related issues.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that minimize risk and promote a safe and respectful workplace.
  • Oversee all aspects of HR operations, implementing best practices and streamlining processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a strategic people leader in a similar role.
  • CIPD qualified.
  • Strong knowledge and practical application of HR practices and employment legislation.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing a People strategy.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • A collaborative team player with authentic leadership qualities; curious and open to new challenges.
  • Enthusiastic, confident, and enjoys engaging with individuals at all levels.
  • Passionate about identifying and nurturing talent.
  • Capable of exercising judgment and finding solutions independently.
