Are you an experienced HR professional with comprehensive generalist capabilities?

Do you have a track record of collaborating with senior leadership teams in a fast-paced consumer goods environment?

Have you successfully developed and implemented strategic initiatives that support multiple leaders and stakeholders?

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize your extensive HR knowledge to evaluate and enhance our global processes, with a focus on employee experience, compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness. Inspire your team to adopt this mindset as well.
  • Lead your team by example, fostering a coaching culture to unlock their potential and prioritize service excellence. Assist them in leveraging their strengths for career advancement.
  • Manage the daily operations of the People Operations service, including personnel administration, system upkeep, and master data management.
  • Initiate a project to establish your team as the primary resource for all HR-related inquiries. Create processes, knowledge guides, and practical skills to effectively address generalist and employee relations inquiries. Engage with the organization through feedback groups to better understand their needs and enhance support.
  • Form a People Policy steering committee to ensure that legislative updates are consistently integrated and that policies align with our organizational values and behaviors. This committee will also identify policy gaps and propose new initiatives.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of our People systems and their integration with our HR information systems. Collaborate with the People Data & Systems Administrator to ensure systems are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to special projects and requests within the broader People team.
  • Encourage a culture of self-service across the People team and the organization, seeking opportunities to enhance self-service processes and exploring the potential of technology and artificial intelligence.
  • Assist with internal and external audit projects as necessary.
  • Make informed, data-driven decisions to enhance the services provided by your team, identifying areas for improvement and demonstrating the impact of your work.
  • Embrace a continuous improvement mindset, consistently prioritizing employee experience and identifying opportunities for greater efficiency.

What are we looking for?

  • Demonstrated experience in HR roles with exposure to employee relations and familiarity with HR systems and people data.
  • A curious, hands-on approach with a passion for people operations, skilled at analyzing processes and identifying opportunities for business improvement on local, regional, and global levels.
  • Proficient in discussing compliance, with a solid understanding of employment laws. Knowledge of international employment laws is advantageous, though not required.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities, ready to guide and inspire a team.
  • Capability to manage and deliver a high volume of work efficiently, maintaining composure under pressure while minimizing errors.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, confident in taking ownership of your workload and seeing tasks through to completion.
  • Approachable and engaging, capable of building collaborative and trustworthy relationships across a global team.
  • Discreet and knowledgeable in handling confidential information, with a strong grasp of data protection principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and able to demonstrate best practices in their use.

Salary up to £65k + benefits.
