Position Overview

AccorHotel is seeking a dedicated Sales Support Specialist to enhance our Sales team. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and possess a deep understanding of our offerings, we invite you to explore this opportunity.

The Sales Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting the Senior Sales Manager with identifying new business group prospects and executing sales initiatives while managing the daily administrative tasks associated with our Corporate and MICE accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support an assigned portfolio by executing comprehensive account management tasks, aiding the Senior Sales Manager in maintaining, servicing, and expanding accounts to drive revenue and monitor performance.
  • Assist in the production of accounts and collaborate with the Senior Sales Manager to convert business group opportunities and MICE requests by preparing necessary contracts and documentation.
  • Respond to group inquiries as directed by your supervisor, ensuring timely communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of objectives and planned activities for managed accounts, ensuring information is consistently updated.
  • Efficiently enter all group and reservation inquiries into the systems without delay.
  • Assist the Senior Sales Manager with group booking inquiries, ensuring prompt communication and responses within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Address any interdepartmental issues related to group bookings, including follow-ups on payments and documentation.
  • Prepare group information sheets and brief all relevant parties prior to group arrivals.
  • Contribute to in-house marketing efforts, including familiarization trips, client hospitality events, presentations, and promotional activities, while also taking minutes during departmental and client meetings as needed.
  • Ensure all accounts have the necessary documentation, contracts, and up-to-date Account Development Plans on file.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Sales Manager to achieve the hotel's overall sales targets on a monthly basis.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with professional conference organizers, travel agents, airlines, and commercial entities to generate business for the hotel.
  • Assist and advise visitors with their general inquiries, addressing guest issues and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by business needs.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A relevant diploma or bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Previous sales experience in the hospitality sector
  • A proven track record of sales achievements
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
