About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our sales team. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing sales team information and providing feedback on outstanding requirements
- Developing technically sound and commercially viable solutions for customer inquiries
- Preparing cost estimates and collating relevant information for proposal folders
- Providing technical support to customers and colleagues
- Ensuring accurate proposal submission and negotiation, and supporting presentations to customers
- Conducting product demonstrations and training at our local technology centers
- Participating in sales reporting and providing feedback on won and lost opportunities
- Contributing to our continuous improvement projects
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A background in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in Mechanical Design, Quotation, Pre-Sales, or Technical Sales Support
- A relevant area experience of capital equipment, such as Food & Beverage, O&G, or Pharmaceuticals
- The ability to use 3D drawing packages and PLM Software, as well as CRM systems
- A solution-driven and customer-oriented approach
- Strong self-leadership and teamwork skills
