About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Facilities Manager to join our dynamic Centre management team at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, maintaining high standards of maintenance and upkeep, and driving energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive asset Planned Preventative Maintenance Plan to ensure the centre's facilities are well-maintained and running efficiently.
  • Regularly review and manage contracts with external suppliers and contractors to ensure service delivery levels are maintained and Westfield standards are adhered to.
  • Liaise with the procurement team to compile tender documents and negotiate contract renewals, ensuring the best value for the company.
  • Manage and control the centre's LTEAP (Low-Temperature Energy and Air Quality) targets, ensuring the centre meets the URW Better Places targets on energy, water usage, and recycling.
  • Coordinate the delivery of all energy reporting with GM Commercial to ensure consistency and accuracy of internal and external data reported.
  • Work with GM Commercial on major energy projects, including solar PV and district heating network decarbonisation.
  • Provide technical leadership for cross-functional centre projects, ensuring successful delivery and implementation.
  • Duty Management responsibilities, including bank holidays and weekends, to ensure the centre's facilities are well-maintained and running smoothly.
Budgeting and Financial Management
  • Develop, implement, and establish all financial functions and control procedures, incorporating established company policies and procedures.
  • Identify potential major maintenance and capital expenditure projects to support the centre's LTEAP and maintenance schedule.
  • Continually review facilities service processes to identify cost efficiencies and alignment with Westfield London.
  • Ensure all activities comply with the requirements of the Centre Health, Safety and Environmental Policy.
  • Identify risks and workplace hazards and implement solutions.
Management and Team Leadership
  • Provide clear guidance and management to all direct reports, ensuring business and personal objectives are set and achieved.
  • Ensure all staff comply with corporate personnel policies and applicable laws.
  • Provide training in centre processes and practices.
  • Clear and consistent communications to Paris head office Team.
  • Coordination with General Manager Commercial on all matters affecting energy management and performance reporting.
Requirements
  • Extensive proven experience in a senior Facilities Management role with extensive contractor management knowledge.
  • Relevant safety training and a working knowledge of health and safety legislation with practical experience in the implementation of procedures.
  • Strong leadership and management skills in recruitment, training, conducting performance reviews, and maximising productivity.
  • Proven experience in budget development and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time, priorities, and business planning.
  • Working knowledge of IT software packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Project Planner, and Outlook.
