Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Direction: Lead and direct all facilities functions, working closely with the General Manager to ensure the effective management of the site.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop, implement, and coordinate the strategic direction and day-to-day management of planned maintenance and repair programs.
  • Contract Management: Manage key supplier contracts to ensure optimum value and delivery.
  • Budget Management: Manage and set service charge budgets.
  • CAPEX and OPEX Planning: Develop and deliver the Facilities CAPEX and OPEX plans.
  • Compliance and Certification: Support the continued certification of ISO45001, ISO14001, and BREEAM.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a senior facilities management role, managing either a large single site or multiple commercial sites.
  • Contractor Management: Extensive experience in contractor management, with a strong understanding of legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Leadership and Management: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to recruit, train, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Budget Development and Management: Proven experience in budget development and management.
  • Communication and Presentation: Excellent communication and presentation skills, effective at all levels.
  • Leadership and Results-Oriented: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to achieve results through others.
