Senior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in South Kent Coast CMHT. As a key member of our Community Mental Health Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions to individuals with mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify individuals' strengths, needs, and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to promote independence, well-being, and recovery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective service delivery.
- Provide supervision and mentoring to junior occupational therapists and support workers.
- Contribute to service development and audits to ensure continuous quality improvement.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
- Experience in completing occupational therapy assessments and interventions, particularly in community mental health settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
