About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in South Kent Coast CMHT. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions to individuals with mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized interventions.
  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions, including group and individual sessions, to support individuals in achieving their goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Provide supervision and mentoring to junior occupational therapists and support workers.
  • Contribute to service development and audits to ensure continuous improvement and quality care.
Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
  • Experience in completing occupational therapy assessments and delivering interventions in a community setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with individuals with mental health difficulties.
  • Knowledge of relevant occupational therapy theoretical models and national policy and procedures.
