Senior Occupational Health Advisor

At RPS Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Health Advisor to join our esteemed in-house Occupational Health team. As a Senior Occupational Health Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional services that go beyond the ordinary, leading the charge in complex case management, administering rail and non-rail medicals, and championing health and wellbeing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to uphold impeccable standards of clinical practice, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
  • Mentor and guide a team of Occupational Health Advisors, fostering a culture of engagement and motivation.
  • Oversee the workflow and utilization of our occupational health nurse team, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Actively participate in commercial initiatives and cross-team collaborations to optimize resource utilization and workflow efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse on NMC Register, holding a post-registration qualification in OH.
  • Experienced in all aspects of OH service delivery including health service delivery, fitness for work and screening procedure.
  • Robust clinical governance attitude and leads by example to their team and the business.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to chair regular team meetings.
  • Approachable style and easy to connect with.
  • Pragmatic approach and strong decision-making ability.
  • Management qualification at certificate level or above desirable but not essential.
  • High degree of self-motivation and management.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Proficient IT skills including MS Word / Excel / Teams or equivalent.
  • Strong team player and able to lead by example.
  • Full UK driving licence is preferable but not essential.
  • Able to travel to London or Mansfield sites occasionally.
