Senior Occupational Health Advisor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Occupational Health Advisor to lead our occupational health services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing health and wellbeing initiatives that promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of occupational health services that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Provide clinical expertise and guidance to our team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement health and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure their professional development.
  • Oversee the workflow and utilization of our occupational health team to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse on the NMC Register, holding a post-registration qualification in OH.
  • Experience in all aspects of OH service delivery, including health service delivery, fitness for work, and screening procedures.
  • Robust clinical governance attitude and ability to lead by example.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to chair regular team meetings.
  • Approachable style and easy to connect with.
  • Pragmatic approach and strong decision-making ability.
  • Management qualification at certificate level or above desirable but not essential.
  • High degree of self-motivation and management.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Proficient IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Teams or equivalent.
  • Strong team player and able to lead by example.
  • Full UK driving licence is preferable but not essential.
  • Able to travel to London or Mansfield sites occasionally.
