Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to our service users.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions to individuals and groups, in line with occupational therapy pathways.
- Communicate effectively with service users, carers, and other professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Contribute to the generic functioning of the team, including initial assessments and core team functions.
- Provide supervision and mentoring to junior occupational therapists, apprentices, and support workers.
- Develop and deliver occupational therapy groups and individual interventions to support service users with complex mental health difficulties.
- Contribute to service development and audits, and take on a lead professional role as required.
- Hold a full, valid UK driving license and have access to a car/vehicle for business purposes.

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
- Qualification: Degree in Occupational Therapy, HCPC Registered.
- Experience: Essential: experience completing OT assessments, working in the community, managing a caseload, and working with service users with mental health difficulties.
- Desirable: experience delivering supervision, group work, and working with service users with personality disorders.
- Knowledge and Skills: Essential: team working, knowledge of national policy and procedure, and application of relevant OT theoretical models.
