Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in South Kent Coast CMHT, based at Coleman House in Dover and Ash Eton in Folkestone. As a key member of our Community Mental Health Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions to individuals with mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized intervention plans.
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions, including group and individual sessions, to support individuals in achieving their goals and improving their mental health and well-being.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, support workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination and effective service delivery.
- Provide supervision and mentoring to junior occupational therapists, occupational therapy apprentices, and support workers to ensure the development of their skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to service development and audits, ensuring that our services are aligned with national policy and procedure, and that we are delivering high-quality care that meets the needs of our service users.
