About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in South Kent Coast CMHT. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions to individuals with mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized intervention plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions, including group and individual sessions, to support individuals in achieving their goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Provide supervision and mentoring to junior team members, promoting professional development and growth.
  • Contribute to service development and audits, ensuring the highest standards of care and quality improvement.

Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC Registered
  • Experience in completing OT assessments and delivering interventions
  • Experience working in community mental health settings
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds
