About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEND Curriculum Lead to join our team at Stanmore College. As a key member of our staff, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and innovative lessons that enhance the literacy skills of our students aged 16-18 and adult learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the special educational needs (SEND) policy
  • Co-ordinate provision for learners with SEND
  • Liaise with and advise other teachers
  • Oversee the records of all learners with SEND
  • Liaise with parents/carers of learners with SEND
  • Contribute to the in-service training of staff
  • Liaise with external agencies including the College support and educational psychology services, health and social services, and voluntary bodies
