About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEND Curriculum Lead to join our team at Stanmore College. As a key member of our staff, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and innovative lessons that enhance the literacy skills of our students aged 16-18 and adult learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the special educational needs (SEND) policy
  • Co-ordinate provision for learners with SEND
  • Liaise with and advise other teachers
  • Oversee the records of all learners with SEND
  • Liaise with parents/carers of learners with SEND
  • Contribute to the in-service training of staff
  • Liaise with external agencies including the College support and educational psychology services, health and social services, and voluntary bodies
Why this Role Matters

The SEND Curriculum Lead is responsible for the operation of the Special Educational Needs Policy and the co-ordination of specific provision made to support individual Students with Special Educational Needs.
