Senior EPR Integration Project Manager

Stanmore, United Kingdom Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust Full time

Job summary

The RNOH is planning to deploy a new EPR (Epic) which will lead to the transformation of care at the hospital. It's an opportunity to improve how we work as a team, make care safer and support staff to spend time on the things that make the biggest difference to patients. The RNOH has just signed off the Outline Business Case (OBC) and completed a procurement for a new EPR, selecting Epic as it's preferred EPR system, to be delivered via the Connect model and hosted and supported by UCLH. The Full Business Case is currently being reviewed and negotiations with Epic and UCLH are currently in progress.

The EPR Programme is the largest transformation programme to be undertaken in the Trust and will result in the decommissioning of the majority of Trusts clinical and non clinical systems and integration with some retained systems with Epic. UCLH will lead this effort but a Senior Integration Project Manager will be required to oversee/manage the implementation and integration between these retained systems and the Trust's chosen EPR, Epic.

The post is line managed by the EPR Programme Manager and accountable to the EPR Programme Director and EPR Solutions Architect

Main duties of the job

This is a high-profile programme and the post holder will work closely with the EPR Programme Manager, UCLH and RNOH EPR Solutions Architects and RNOH infrastructure managers to manage the implementation and integration of the interfaces between retained systems and the EPR through all stages of the Programme.

Joining our organisation means enjoying a wide range of staff benefits, including:

A dedicated Staff Wellbeing Hub, providing a space to relax and recharge away from the work environment. Salary sacrifice schemes for transport (season ticket loans, car and bike), electrical goods, and childcare

At RNOH, we are more than a workplace--we are committed to patients, to excellence and the wellbeing of our staff.
