Role Overview:
This position involves managing key business accounts while exploring new opportunities with Group Tour Operators both domestically and internationally.

Key Account Management Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact for a designated portfolio of Group Tour Operators and Multi-branch Travel Agents, facilitating their sales into our UK and overseas tours.
  • Engage in the complete account lifecycle, focusing on a rolling two-year activity plan to assess the progress of existing and prospective booking opportunities, collaborating with various stakeholders to maximize revenue across our UK Country House properties and partner hotels.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with business owners and account managers responsible for these contracts, necessitating travel for annual reviews and the identification of additional contract opportunities.
  • Identify client needs and requirements to effectively promote our solutions, ensuring mutual satisfaction.

New Business Development Duties:
  • For sustained growth, it is essential to consistently generate high-quality new opportunities that lead to repeat business. Your role will be crucial in driving new sales through additional Group Tour Operators in the UK and abroad.
  • While you may receive warm leads from inbound inquiries, the emphasis will be on proactively securing new business through your own lead generation efforts.
  • After an initial induction period, you will be assigned KPIs and priority business objectives to guide your focus on the most promising opportunities.
  • Participation in exhibitions and events throughout the year will be required to generate new leads, follow-up appointments, and ultimately secure new business for future seasons.
  • This role may involve occasional travel within the UK and internationally, either independently or accompanied.
