Role Overview:
This position focuses on B2B key account management and the exploration of new business opportunities with Group Tour Operators both domestically and internationally.

Key Account Management Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of established Group Tour Operators and Multi-branch Travel Agents with agreements to promote our UK and overseas tours, aiming for growth across all brand channels.
  • Engage in the complete life cycle of an account, emphasizing a rolling two-year activity plan to assess progress on existing and future booking opportunities, collaborating closely with various stakeholders to maximize revenue potential for all accommodations and tours.
  • Develop robust relationships with business owners and account managers responsible for these contracts, which will necessitate travel for annual reviews and the identification of additional contract opportunities.
  • Identify client needs and requirements to effectively promote our company's solutions, ensuring mutual satisfaction.

New Business Development Duties:
  • To sustain business growth, a consistent influx of quality new opportunities is essential. Your role will be critical in generating new sales through additional Group Tour Operators in the UK and abroad.
  • While you may receive warm leads through inbound inquiries, the primary focus will be on securing new business through proactive lead generation throughout the year.
  • After an induction period, you will be provided with KPIs and priority business requirements to guide your efforts toward the most promising opportunities.
  • Attendance at exhibitions and events will be necessary to generate new leads, follow-up appointments, and ultimately secure new business for future seasons.
  • This role may involve ad-hoc travel within the UK and internationally, either accompanied or independently.
