Job Overview

Due to our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a Logistics Planning Coordinator to become part of our dynamic team on a full-time permanent basis.

In this position, you will be responsible for collecting data on vehicle collection efficiency and ensuring that all pertinent departments are informed of daily operational matters.

Salary: £23,320 per annum.

Working hours: 4 on 4 off, 6:30am-18:30pm.

Key Responsibilities of a Logistics Planning Coordinator:

Actively monitoring vehicle movements and communicating with drivers to ensure collection schedules are adhered to. Keeping relevant internal teams updated on any delays in vehicle arrivals. Establishing strong relationships with key clients through proactive communication regarding late collections and providing estimated arrival times. Accurately recording arrival and departure times for all collections and disseminating results as necessary. Performing administrative tasks and data entry to maintain compliance with company systems regarding working time directives and tachograph regulations. Regularly updating the working time directive system to ensure data accuracy and timeliness. Executing any other formal and legal responsibilities as required. Maintaining thorough records.

Required Qualifications

Strong administrative capabilities and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment. Capable of working independently and with minimal supervision. Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook (or equivalent). Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory. Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) setting is preferred.
