Job Overview

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Transport Planning Administrator to join our dynamic team at CML. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for individuals looking to contribute to our growing operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data related to vehicle collection efficiency, ensuring that all relevant teams are informed of daily operational matters.

Compensation: £23,320 per annum.

Working Schedule: 4 on 4 off, 6:30 am - 6:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor vehicle movements and communicate with drivers to ensure timely collections.
  • Keep internal departments updated on any delays in vehicle arrivals.
  • Establish strong relationships with key clients through proactive communication regarding late vehicles and estimated arrival times.
  • Accurately record and report arrival and departure times for all collections.
  • Perform administrative tasks and data entry to uphold compliance with WTD and tachograph regulations.
  • Regularly update the WTD system to maintain accurate and current data.
  • Execute any other formal and legal responsibilities as required.
  • Maintain thorough records.

Qualifications:

  • Strong administrative capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook (or similar software).
  • Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) setting is a plus.
