Job Description

**Programme Officer - Law Role Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Officer to join our client, a prestigious London university, in the Department of Law. As a Programme Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the department and ensuring a smooth start to the new academic year.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the department's inboxes, assist with email triage, and respond promptly to student queries.
  2. Resolve student and academic inquiries via telephone and in person, providing excellent customer service and signposting as necessary.
  3. Contribute to the student journey with module, programme evaluation, and assessment processes, including supporting with the collation of marks for Academic Boards.
  4. Assist with the preparation and execution of events, including trips, external speakers, and associated logistics of room bookings and refreshments.
  5. Servicing academic committees, including writing minutes, reports, and taking follow-up action as required.
  6. Provide other general administrative support to the Programmes Team and wider university.
Key Skills:
  1. Experience in an administrative and student-facing role within a higher education setting with a good understanding of the student lifecycle.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer service with students, academics, and professionals. Strong numeracy skills with an ability to work with, analyze, and report on large data sets.
  3. Highly proficient in IT systems, including Microsoft, as well as student records systems and virtual learning environments, specifically UNIT-e and SITS.
  4. A proactive and positive team member with excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

This is a temporary, full-time position starting immediately for three months. The role is campus-based, and we are looking for a personable and proactive individual with a flair for administration and exceptional customer service.
