Job Description

**Programme Officer - Law Role Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Officer to join our client, a prestigious London university, in the Department of Law. As a Programme Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the department and ensuring a smooth start to the new academic year.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage high volumes of queries from students and staff, providing excellent customer service and signposting as necessary.
  2. Contribute to the student journey with module, programme evaluation, and assessment processes, including supporting with the collation of marks for Academic Boards.
  3. Assist with the preparation and execution of events, including trips, external speakers, and associated logistics of room bookings and refreshments.
  4. Servicing academic committees, including writing minutes, reports, and taking follow-up action as required.
  5. Provide other general administrative support to the Programmes Team and wider university.
Key Skills:
  1. Experience in an administrative and student-facing role within a higher education setting with a good understanding of the student lifecycle.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer service with students, academics, and professionals.
  3. Highly proficient in IT systems, including Microsoft, student records systems, and virtual learning environments.
  4. A proactive and positive team member with excellent time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
