Housing and Homelessness Programme Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Programme Associate to join our Housing and Homelessness Programme team at Oak Foundation. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the programme director, conducting research on housing and homelessness issues, and contributing to the design and implementation of the programme strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the programme director, including managing their diary, organizing events, and conducting research on housing and homelessness issues.
- Conduct research on housing and homelessness issues, including keeping abreast of relevant policy issues and summarizing external reports for the benefit of the programme team.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of the programme strategy, including developing and implementing a communications plan and drafting content for newsletters, internal reports, and presentations.
- Manage the grant-making project management system and monitor the grant-making budget.
- Provide a range of administrative support to the programme director, including managing their diary, organizing events, and conducting research on housing and homelessness issues.
- 3-5 years' demonstrable experience of working for a not-for-profit organization or development organization, ideally in a housing and homelessness policy and research.
- Demonstrable experience and confidence in all Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to write for a range of different audiences.
- Your interest in housing and homelessness.
