Red Snapper Recruitment | Housing is seeking a highly skilled Homelessness Review Officer to join our team. As a Homelessness Review Officer, you will be responsible for conducting an independent review of the City of London Corporation's statutory homelessness team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in reviewing statutory homelessness services, applying methodologies comparable to those outlined in section 3, and drafting and presenting reports suitable for circulation at Chief Officer level.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct a thorough analysis of statutory homelessness data, including quantitative and qualitative data from dedicated databases, published reports, and local recording systems.
  • Interview statutory homelessness staff and relevant internal and external stakeholders to gather information and insights.
  • Compare findings with best practice examples from other local authorities to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and present a detailed report outlining findings and recommendations to support the City of London Corporation's statutory homelessness offer.
  • Presentation of the review findings/recommendations upon request.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in reviewing statutory homelessness services and applying methodologies comparable to those outlined in section 3.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of autonomy and flexibility.
