About the Role

Hays London Ebury Gate is seeking a highly skilled Programme Manager to join our team. As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional programme management, governance management, and project planning during a critical phase of the integration programme of the university.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Integration Delivery Plan: Develop and implement a detailed timeline for the development, delivery, and implementation of the integration programme to maintain momentum.
  • Assure Programme of Workstreams and Projects: Ensure the integration of professional services, underpinned by best practice structures, services, and processes.
  • Monitor Outstanding Agreements and Compliance: Track the completion of outstanding agreements, regulatory, and compliance commitments.
  • Support Workstream and Project Leaders: Work proactively with workstream and project leaders to deliver their work while providing context and support from the wider Programme.
  • Coordinate Integration-Focused Project Business Cases: Develop and coordinate integration-focused project business cases and plans.
  • Ensure Budget, Resources, and Quality Management: Manage the agreed reporting framework for programme monitoring, including benefits realisation, risks, interdependencies, issue prioritisation, and escalation.
Requirements
  • Relevant Professional Qualification: Hold a relevant professional qualification, such as APM or Prince2.
  • Project and Programme Delivery Experience: Demonstrate a track record of project and programme delivery in a complex business environment.
  • Senior-Level Experience in Higher Education: Have demonstrable experience working at a senior level within higher education, NHS, or other public sector organisations.
  • Knowledge of Major Projects and Programmes: Demonstrate knowledge of the management of major projects and programmes, and approaches to enabling change in large and complex organisations.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation and presentation skills.
