University Partnerships Programme (UPP) is dedicated to creating thriving university campus environments that support student success and well-being. We achieve this through a comprehensive range of facilities management services delivered by our onsite teams.

We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Facilities Management Assistant to join our Kings Cross/Euston team. This is a permanent, part-time position working 24 hours per week from 2pm to 8pm on a 4 on 4 off work pattern over 7 days.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service at the reception desk, managing visitor logs, contractor access, and key distribution.
  • Support management in coordinating daily operations and administrative tasks within the residence.
  • Utilize a computerized property management system to monitor reactive maintenance requests, planned work schedules, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Generate reports as required.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the residence and grounds, identifying and reporting any safety or security concerns.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness throughout the residence and grounds.
  • Supervise out-of-hours access to the residence, ensuring compliance with fire, health, and safety procedures.
  • Respond effectively to fire alarm activations and liaise with emergency services.
  • Participate in required training programs and act as a designated First Aider if necessary.
  • Collaborate with UPP staff, university clients, subcontractors, and conference delegates as needed.
  • Promote positive student conduct and address concerns, referring to student support services or relevant agencies when appropriate.
