Job Summary:

Proximity Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Brand Marketing Manager to join a dynamic and ambitious global brand in the retail industry.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the marketing strategy and national retail calendar, supporting campaigns, key trading dates, and local initiatives that align with the company's strategic marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to develop and execute the marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Manage the public relations program through a reputable PR agency, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee the national paid advertising program through a trusted media agency, ensuring effective campaign execution and ROI measurement.
  • Develop and implement metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities, providing data-driven insights to inform future marketing decisions.
  • Support local and regional teams with tactical marketing initiatives to attract, engage, and retain customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, including creative agencies, print and stock management, PR, media, merchandise, graphic designers, and AV providers.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience across the customer journey, driving business growth and loyalty.
  • Develop and manage marketing assets, including multi-channel campaigns and integrated marketing materials.
  • Manage the national media program and organic social channels, ensuring consistent brand messaging and engagement.
  • Oversee the national charity partnership program, fostering strong relationships with key partners.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel, integrated marketing campaigns to support customer groups, working closely with the marketing team to deliver results.
  • Lead a team of 4, including a Social Media Manager, Marketing Assistant, and Executives, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.
