About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Practitioner to join our dynamic team at the NHS. As a key member of our urgent care services, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Main Responsibilities
  • Practice autonomously without direct supervision, utilizing your expertise to make informed decisions and provide exceptional patient care.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to foster a culture of compassion and respect.
Requirements
  • Registered Adult Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist with the relevant professional bodies (NMC, HCPC, or GPhC).
  • Registered as an independent non-medical prescriber.
  • Excellent counselling and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
  • Awareness of current structures and developments in out-of-hours care, health, and social care.
  • ALS/PALS certification, with experience in cannulation, venepuncture, ECG recording and interpretation, plastering, suturing, and wound closure.
  • IRMER and X-ray interpretation, pathology interpretation, and telephone triage skills.
