About the Role

Allen Lane is seeking a highly skilled Transformation Manager to support the London Borough of Newham in their Sovereign IT Programme. This is a key position that will play a crucial role in driving behavior and culture change within the IT service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Internal Communications: Develop and execute strategies to ensure clear and effective messaging throughout the transition.
  • Feedback and Engagement: Gather regular feedback from staff to inform engagement initiatives and foster a positive and inclusive culture within the DDaT team.
  • Culture Change Initiatives: Regularly assess the impact of culture change initiatives and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Lead on Diversity and inclusion initiatives to align with culture changes and establish a network of change champions across DDaT.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop clear and consistent messages for various stakeholders within the organization.

Requirements

  • Behavior and Culture Change Principles: Deep understanding of behavior and culture change principles and strong knowledge of training and workforce development best practices.
  • Internal Communications: Expertise in internal communications and messaging strategies.
  • Staff Engagement: Understanding of staff engagement techniques and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and drive cultural change across an organization.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex messages clearly.
  • Training and Development: Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and motivate staff.

What We Offer

A competitive salary between £51,093 - £54,129 (with a pending pay award) plus benefits including the local government pension scheme and much more.
