Change Grow Live Newham Rise have been delivering drug and alcohol services in Newham for the last 10 years. Based across 4 community hubs, we support Newham residents (age 11+) who are either struggling with their own, or a loved one’s drug and/or alcohol use. We provide a variety of interventions, supporting an individual to achieve and sustain their recovery goals

We have an exciting opportunity for a **Implementation Change Lead** who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users and their families, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs. No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.

**Where**: Newham

**Hours**: 37.5 per week

**Salary**: £43,814.50 - £50,346.75 pro rata dependent on experience

**Allowance**: £4072.06 Inner London Weighting pro rata

**Contract Type**: Fixed Term - 6 Months

**Responsibilities**:
**About the role**:
We are looking for an experienced leader to oversee our implementation plan and mobilise a number of different changes and new initiatives, in a timely manner, as per our tender.

Supported by the Services Manager and the national Implementation Team, the role will involve a number of key tasks, not limited to:

- Consultation with existing staff on changes
- Recruitment to a number of new roles and teams
- Working closely with key central teams, e.g. facilities, HR, marketing, legal
- Lead on the mobilisation, implementation and transformation of the service from an operational perspective
- Mobilising new projects and initiatives
- Communicating with key stakeholders including service users and other organisations on the proposed changes
- Promotion and publication of the service to encourage referrals and ultimately, more service users engaging with the service.

**About you**:

- Considerable experience of working within substance misuse services with a clear understanding of the need for and ability to deliver quality services
- Experience of managing project development and leading a service operation
- Experience of working within contracts, service agreements and service delivery systems
- Able to work as a member of a team
- Experience of staff supervision
- Experience of delivering services in a community setting
- The ability to communicate confidently and effectively, verbally and in writing
- the ability to employ an empathetic and non-judgmental attitude towards service users
