Job Overview

We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for an IT Support Specialist to become a part of our dynamic team.

In this role, you will deliver 1st and 2nd line support as a vital member of our IT Service Desk. Your responsibilities will include maintaining our systems, software, and infrastructure to ensure a seamless and professional service experience. You will also assist both onsite personnel and remote users through various support channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing 1st and 2nd line support, escalating issues to 3rd line support when necessary, and collaborating effectively within the Service Desk team.
  • Managing incoming requests through the ticketing system, ensuring proper categorization and logging of issues while meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Proactively troubleshooting problems to deliver timely resolutions for end users.
  • Exhibiting exceptional customer service skills while assisting users in a friendly and professional manner, demonstrating empathy towards their concerns.
  • Supporting IT services across the organization and various remote work locations.
  • Collaborating with the broader IT & Change team on ongoing initiatives and projects.
Qualifications

Who We Are Looking For:

  • A foundational understanding of technology, including familiarity with Windows 10, Citrix/VDI, Microsoft O365, One Drive, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Azure AD/Active Directory, and Exchange.
  • A comprehensive understanding of key IT infrastructure components such as networking, telephony, operating systems, application servers, firewalls, and mobile devices.
  • Experience in 1st and 2nd Line Service Desk roles is advantageous.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities, with a knack for building rapport and understanding user needs.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to time and resource constraints.
