We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Recovery-Focused Education Facilitator to become a part of our dedicated team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will leverage their personal insights, knowledge, and skills to collaboratively design and deliver a variety of educational programs. This role is part-time, requiring a commitment of three days per week.

Key Responsibilities

The Recovery-Focused Education Facilitator will play a crucial role in the development and execution of our educational offerings. Key responsibilities include:

  • Enhancing the quality and effectiveness of our educational programs.
  • Assisting in the creation of new courses and instructional materials.
  • Collaborating in the co-production and facilitation of workshops and courses.
  • Co-developing, co-delivering, and evaluating educational content.
  • Engaging with students and stakeholders to foster creative development and initiatives.
  • Maintaining professional relationships with students and colleagues, respecting diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
  • Supporting the College team with administrative tasks related to course management.
  • Promoting the principles of personal recovery and collaborative delivery in all activities.
  • Demonstrating the value of lived experience in line with co-production principles.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

  • A degree or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Personal lived experience of recovery from mental health challenges.
  • Experience in educational or mental health settings.
  • Proven ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with co-production and recovery concepts.
