About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated Support, Time & Recovery (STaR) Worker to join our Adult Community Mental Health Services team in East South East Hertfordshire.
As a STaR Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals living in the community who are experiencing or recovering from mental health difficulties. Your primary focus will be on empowering service users through recovery principles and promoting their well-being within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and guidance to adults of all ages experiencing mental health challenges, collaborating with them to develop personalized recovery plans.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including healthcare professionals, social workers, and other stakeholders, to ensure comprehensive care for service users.
- Conduct assessments, plan interventions, implement support strategies, and evaluate outcomes in line with the principles of Recovery.
- Facilitate access to resources and services, connecting individuals with benefits, welfare rights, and community support networks.
- Promote service user independence and choice by empowering them to actively participate in their care planning and decision-making processes.
