Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom Fleet Education Services Full time
Are you looking for a position that values the significance of inspiring and effective education?

Join Fleet Education Services as a dedicated tutor in Maths, English, or Science.

We are a prominent nationwide provider of alternative and supplementary educational services to schools and local authorities, assisting children from diverse backgrounds through personalized one-on-one and small group tutoring programs.

We ensure high-quality tutoring, delivered by exceptional educators who share our commitment to helping every learner we support succeed.

These students will need focused, in-person assistance to achieve their academic goals. If you are an enthusiastic teacher or tutor with experience in supporting KS1-KS4 English, Maths, or Science, and you enjoy working with students in their own environments, whether at home or in schools, we would be delighted to collaborate with you.

You will provide in-person, daytime tutoring to learners who are facing challenges in meeting age-appropriate academic standards.

Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing the self-esteem and subject comprehension of your students, ultimately re-engaging them with their education and fostering positive learning outcomes.

Students referred to us may have complex learning needs, and experience working with children who exhibit the following will be beneficial:

• Special educational needs (SEN) such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and Dyslexia or Dyspraxia
• Collaborate with the guardians and teachers of your learners to ensure their academic success.
• Maintain precise records of tutoring sessions and student performance through our virtual learning platform.
• Competitive weekly remuneration through PAYE.
• Flexible roles that accommodate your existing commitments and availability, with full-time equivalent hours available.
• Ongoing training opportunities that contribute to your CPD and provide insights into working with SEN learners.
• A Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 6 months of UK teaching or tutoring experience.

It is essential to hold or be willing to undergo a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.

Experience supporting students with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs is advantageous.

We work collaboratively.
